Longchamp's 7-part Heels series for Facebook

Paris—Are you with Alice or Trisha? Upscale brand Longchamp has created a rivalry, and no, it’s not with another luxury leathergoods brand, but rather between two top editors at the fashion magazine “Shine.”

It’s all fictitious fun, of course, but the created fashionistas will spar in a series of web spots on Longchamp’s Facebook page, all with the aim of getting fans to take sides. And to view Longchamp’s newest collection.

Created by Makers Entertainment and sensually directed by Nicolas Pier Morin, the 7-part series “Heels” shows the latest merchandise in a clever, enticing way (no faces are shown, just close-ups of silhouettes, hands, feet and merchandise) that will hopefully be shared by fans via social media. Fans can also keep abreast of Alice and Trisha’s antics on Twitter with the hashtag #heels.

“This collaboration is a more optimal way for the brand to communicate on its collection throughout the fashion world,” says Marie-Sabine Leclercq, international communications director for Longchamp. “The Longchamp ready-to-wear collection and bags are the real stars of the series as it is only materials, colors and details of the products that give their true identity to the characters.”

The segment aired on December 19th and will continue for three weeks. The series is also broadcasted in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, China and the USA.

About Longchamp: Founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain, Longchamp is still family owned and run. The product range has expanded considerably over the years; from travel goods to accessories and women’s bags. Today it is represented worldwide in over 220 boutiques and 2000 sales outlets in 101 countries.
