New York—New York Fashion Week may be over, but there’s still plenty of fashion action going on this weekend. On Sunday, AccessoriesTheShow (ATS) Pavilion, a tightly-edited group of 250 plus accessories lines, opens at the Javits Center for a three-day run along with Moda Manhattan and Fame shows.
ATS Pavilion, an all-accessories presentation staged amid Moda and Fame, has shown double-digit increases in resources and attendance since its debut. The shows, which focus on immediate Holiday/Resort 11-12, are designed to be a one-stop shopping experience.
Buyers can enjoy an expanded menu of amenities, too: a catering pass (including complimentary breakfast, smoothies, cappuccino and other beverages, lunch, and bottled water), a free tote bag, even a beauty spa where any show attendee can receive a free manicure by Spa Chicks on the Go (including Essie Polish bar), dry hair styling from De Berardinis Salon, and 15-minute massage sessions with accredited therapist Tobie Schuerfeld.
Music to Shop By
BJI Fashion Group, the shows’ producer, also invited DJ Lexey, resident DJ at Bloomingdale’s Soho, to spin live from a DJ Lounge on the show floor. DJ Lexey, a favorite among the fashion industry, will be bringing “amazing sound and energy throughout the three day event.”
