Rihanna is never one for subtlety, so it was no surprise that a motocross show kicked off her heavily moto-themed fashions, not to mention a drive-by from the star herself. With a nod to the ’80s, the show was heavy on neon and logos, mesh accents, sporty backpacks and sunglasses, and lots of strappy accents and closures.

want need to be hands-free at all times! Zimmermann added a twist with raffia-embroidered straw belt-bags, a first in our book. The bags accented a feminine show full of ruffles, flounces and dainty prints, all accented with drippy single earrings and necklaces.
When is a hat not a hat? When it’s a handbag by Eugenia Kim. The creative hat and footwear designer has launched a handbag collection at NYFW and her hat designs factor strongly into the designs. From a flipped around hat/bag to a purple feathered tote that somehow evoked a retro swim cap, we say hats off to the industry’s new handbag designer.
