If you’re a designer, artist, “maker” or small business and want to get your brand out to a larger audience, you won’t want to miss STORY’s Pitch Night. STORY is rotating retail concept shop that doubles as an incubator and immersive experiential space, bringing brands to the forefront with its cleverly themed events. Pitch Night helps them get in the door.
On Wednesday, September 13, 6–9pm, brands are invited to pitch their concept to a panel of experts including Olivia Kim, VP, Creative Projects of Nordstrom; Rachel Schechtman, Founder & CEO of STORY; and Tory JJohnson, Deals and Steals, Good Morning America.
“PITCHES DON’T NEED TO BE RELATED TO ANY UPCOMING STORY. JUST AMAZING MERCHANDISE THAT’S READY TO GO!”
–Rachel Schechtman, STORY
How It Works
Step 1: Have a product to pitch and a story to tell. This must be an actual product and not just an idea.
Step 2: RSVP and tell a bit about your product. This is the “pitch” part.
Step 3: If you are confirmed, show up early as the event is first-come, firsts-served. You will have three minutes to tell your story to the panel, so make it tight and focused.
Step 4: Mix and mingle with fellow makers for the duration of the evening.
