Southern California line JOHNNY WAS continues its retail expansion with its first store in New York City, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
JOHNNY WAS’s aesthetic captures a free-spirited style, with colorful fabrics, signature prints, and detailed embroideries that embody a relaxed lifestyle and bohemian elegance. The brand includes a full line of fabrics, signature prints and accessories: including unique scarves, handbags, jewelry, fragrance and belts. This May, Johnny Was also announced a multi-year agreement with Eponym to design, produce and distribute the brand’s first eyewear and sunglass collection.

The Manhattan store will feature a dark-plated bronze storefront, accented with White Oak woodwork and Johnny Was signage in light-plated bronze. The boutique will feature a curated selection of custom embroidery, artisanal handcrafts and opulent Boho details.
