Kicking off Accessories Magazine’s live education program at the August NY Women’s Market is a dynamic SS18 trend presentation you won’t want to miss.

Spring/Summer 2018: Trend Presentation Through the Accessories Lens, presented by trend expert Jayne Mountford, will be held Sunday, August 6, 2 p.m. at the Crystal Palace/Accessories Magazine Lounge.

At this 40-minute long drop-in presentation with hundreds of images, Mountford will walk attendees through what they need to know for the coming season. The presentation is free and there is no need to sign up. A Q&A will follow.

“As our industry finalizes Spring 18 designs and prepares seasonal buys, it’s more important than ever to hone in on the right items,” says Mountford. “With trends coming from every direction–down from the designers, up from the street and sideways from social media–it can be overwhelming. At Accessories Magazine, we’re here to help you cut through the ‘noise’ and focus on the essentials. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to present to you the 5 Big Trends and Seasonal Key Concepts for Spring/Summer 2018 as seen through the accessories lens.”

Outlining the five big trends for Spring/Summer 18, the presentation will feature:

  • Inspirations, influences and themes
  • Color
  • Prints and patterns
  • Key items

Complementing the presentation will be a separate Trend Vignette display at AccessoriesTheShow featuring merchandise pulled from the show floor.
