While it might be chic to artfully drape your leather jacket over your shoulders for those street style selfies, sometimes you just want to get the darn thing off and out of sight! New York City friends Morgan Schlaugies and Gracie Tirro had a similar epiphany while repeatedly experiencing long coat check lines, one too many jacket-in-a-bar spilled drink inconveniences, and countless “this sweaty-dance-floor-is-NO-PLACE-for-a-coat” moments.
Enter Covert and its Morgan Rae Moto Jacket that converts into a bag/backpack with just a few zip-and-flip movements. The friends are both FIT grads, so the item mixes fashion with a functional business slant. All Covert items are made in the U.S.A too. The best part? There will still be some room in the bag to stash whatever essentials, wristlet or clutch you’re already carrying, so you won’t need to wear two bags.
Since it’s always better to show than tell (plus, we still can’t figure out how to fold our fitted sheets so you won’t want to hear it from us), we’ll let Covert better explain the process with this graphic and YouTube video.
