The young-contemporary market is quickly evolving and it seems every year, there is a breakout brand to note. WWDMAGIC is just around the corner, taking place in Las Vegas from February 21-23. Accessories chatted with Show Director, Kelly Helfman, about the brands and trends to watch for on the show floor, both in ready to wear and accessories.

“The Young Contemporary market is beginning to move away from fast fashion for quality goods at a reasonable price points,” says Helfman, who adds she’s also excited about the new look and feel of WWDMAGIC, a new initiative that engages all the senses for a better experience.

“You’ll see an investment on décor to activiations–from the Content Studio in the grand lobby, to the Social House on the concourse with educational seminars/panels throughout the show to bloggers who will be available to connect with brands and buyers for three days. Of course amazing product is always key, and there will be a trend display with show merchandise curated by Fashion Snoops to help guide retailers into their buys.”
