ICEBERG: COMIC RELIEF
Iceberg’s Pre-Fall 2017 Collection was the beginning of a new chapter for the fashion house. With a new creative director, designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac clearly wanted to have some fun! The collection was a little sporty with comic book cartoons injected with some punk. Graphic prints and patterns of comic book pages, abstract black and white cartoons, as well as some powerful motifs such as Bat Girl and stars created an intense POP statement!
ROKSANDA: GEOMETRIC SHAPES
With a reference from the Sixties and Seventies, Roksanda’s nostalgic Pre-Fall 17 collection had a workwear element mixed with modern geometric shapes in apparel, handbag, buttons and earrings. Bold blues, orange, peach, and flashes of metallic fabrics were used for over-sized shaped patterns, structured handbags had large circular handles and hardware while hoop earrings were seen in bold silhouettes and mismatched materials.
