DSQUARED2

Variety was a key word for Dsquared2’s Spring 2017 collection, which showed a myriad of colors, materials and prints, creating a visual stand out collection. Designers Dean and Dan Caten showcased a variety of accessories with styling cues fit for outlandish dressing. Long statement earrings made of silk bows and metallic graphic accents, heals with a range of strappy accents from corded materials to soft ribbon were just a few.  Piling on accessories was also illustrated in the collection, as exemplified by models carrying multiple handbags and wearing bracelets stacked on top of one another, arm party style.

DOLCE & GABBANA

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer show in Milan had an ostentatiously youthful vibe, with a side of prints, volume and sparkle. Taking cue from the tropics, the Italian brand featured blooming items such as embellished sunglasses and footwear (light-up heels!), a multitude of hear accessories from colorful bejeweled tiaras to turbans with 3-D accents as well as gilded hair jewelry.

MAX MARA

Max Mara’s S/S 2017 collection featured city dressing with a wild safari theme. Animal and grass prints and motifs were generously utilized in this jungle-inspired collection that transitioned from athleisure to functional streetwear (hooded jackets, loose onesies, and even bodysuits meant for outdoor dressing), featuring accessories such as sun visors, big sunglasses, leather belts and bags, and selections of studded mules.
