Last year, Farfetch, a site that connects luxury shoppers with merchandise in brick and mortar stores all over the world, announced its launch of Black & White, an e-commerce platform aimed at mono brands.
FarFetch—so the thinking went—would contribute e-commerce expertise while individual brands were saved the time and expense of building its own infrastructure.
Now Black & White has another marquee customer.
The addition puts FarFetch in closer competition with the YOOX Net-a-Porter Group, which performs similar functions for brands ranging from Armani to Valentino.
