New York—Haskell Jewels recently announced the appointment of Denise Venice as executive vice president, creative director brands.

Venice is familiar from her 8-year tenure at Henri Bendel where she served as vice president of Design Gifting, Fashion Accessories and Jewelry. Not only did she oversee Bendel’s launch of branded product but also another Limited Brands Inc. division, Victoria’s Secret accessories in 2008.

Prior to Bendel’s, Venice was a Design Director at Liz Claiborne Accessories. She also served as director, jewelry design, for Juicy and Laundry brands.

At Haskell, Venice will oversee all design functions of Haskell’s branded businesses, including jewelry, watches and gifting as well as its recent technology partnership.

She reports to Brett H. Fialkoff, Vice Chairman/Chief Operating Officer.

“We couldn’t be happier to have someone of Denise’s caliber joining us. Denise will immediately bring a sense of elevated fashion to us,” Haskell said. “Partnering with Patricia Klein (Creative Director Private Label) in Trend and Garth Leas our new Chief Merchant, this continues to position Haskell as the industry leader.”
