With 25 years in accessories publishing, Lauren has written over 1,000 articles profiling industry experts, retail and marketing executives, designers and manufacturers, and traveled extensively for international shows and trendspotting (most recent trip: Morocco). Lauren has previously written for National Jeweler, Couture Jeweler, Accent, EyeWear and International Watch, plus art, travel and lifestyle consumer publications like Hampton Country. She recently worked on the fine jewelry coffee table book Jewelry’s Shining Stars. Lauren frequently judges industry design competitions and speaks at fashion schools, and has presented accessories segments on TV. She has a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University.
COURTNEY IGNELZI, Trend Director
Graduating with a BA in Fashion Merchandising Management from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Courtney Ignelzi started her career over 10 years ago as a Trend Correspondent at Stylesight.com. Her vast knowledge and keen eye for analyzing women’s runway, street trends and retail has taken her around the world for market and tradeshow coverage. After being a part of the Stylesight team for 7 years, Courtney took her love for trend forecasting and product development and began consulting for various retailers and e-commerce sites. With a personal passion for women’s accessories and footwear, her forward and innovative ideas landed her as Trend Director at Accessories Magazine’s Trend Forecasting Service, Accessories Directions. Creating and developing a new product for the clients, her expertise and passion for technology and accessories blended perfectly for a more user friendly and directional trend service.
SAMUEL JOHNSON, Online Production Manager
Samuel has years of experience in the music business and in Public Relations. He worked with Atlantic Records and Def Jam launching an independent label which sold more that 10 million records.
