No, it’s because you spied a new love: Dior’s metallic sunglasses with their aerial frames and architectural lines.
The new silhouette is the brain child of Raf Simons, creative director at Dior who uses graphic silhouettes mirrored in the top portion of the lens with “magnetic colors.”
“The fine faced metal line applied on the lens underlines this graphic elegance and are prolonged to create fine openworked temples,” Simons says. “The pace and energy of the city are transcribed in these new sunglasses.
Offered five versions, the glasses will hit retail in August, when there’s still plenty of bright summer sunlight to blind your vision.
