Styloko Fashion Site Adds Mobile App

StylokoLondon–Social shopping site Styloko has launched a location-based mobile shopping app that connects users to nearby stores via GPS, creating an omnichannel experience.

Working with thousands of fashion brands and retailers, already lets users follow their favorite brands, get an instant feed of targeted products and curate their personal online boutique of specific items to browse, buy online or find in nearby stores. The site also gives alerts when targeted items go on sale, expert trend editorial and a social aspect to let users discover new and trending styles through Styloko’s fashion community.

The app does all this in the palm of one’s hand, also letting consumers hit the new ‘Nearby’ function on the app to find a store nearby and try items on or touch them before purchasing.

“We know that consumers consult several channels across multiple devices before making a purchase, and we have seen a significant increase in traffic from mobile,” Ivailo Jordanov, founder and CEO of Styloko. “We want to create a better user experience around merging the online and offline behavior of consumers.”

The app is free to download and is available for use on iPhone and iPad.

To recap: Another day, another cool shopping app (and another reason for Android users to regret not buying an iPhone!).
