It’s time to strike a pose, Sporties! More pics from my amazing travels in Jamaica! This time, from The RockHouse Hotel in Negril! Each morning I had the pleasure of waking up my mind and body with an hour-long Hatha Yoga class (which helps to build physical and mental strength), while overlooking the Caribbean Sea! Our amazing instructor, Fanette guided us through a series of poses as we breathed in the ocean air. I was able to push myself and improve my flexibility and strength, which is a great balance to my other love, running. I’ve been learning the importance of mixing up my workouts, alternating cardio, strength training, and stretching, in order to build muscles and avoid injuries. As busy and fast-paced as this trip was with all the amazing sights to see, I’m glad I was able to sneak in a few workouts and keep my body on track. Keep sweating, Lovelies!
