These days, if a pyramid stud can fit on an accessory item, then undoubtedly you’ll find dozens of them decorating it.
But leathergoods designer Lindsay Danto has come up with a new (and latest) version that is elegant and understated. For her collection of handbags in her Lin Danto line, Danto created largesize, single pyramids that decorate her bags. For example, her box clutch in black leather features a cherrywood pyramid, creating an oversized architectural detail that cannot be missed.
Danto, who graduated from Boston University in 2003, had worked for two upscale handbag and accessories boutique on the East Coast where she says she learned about leather, quality of materials and craftsmanship.
“I learned what exactly it is that women want in a handbag,” she adds.
Evidently so, since her pyramid collection has been a hit.
