Boston—While one usually doesn’t associate dressing rooms with online shopping, Rue La La (www.ruelala.com) hopes to change all that. The lifestyle shopping destination announced today the launch of DressingRoom, a series of boutiques that brings to life one-stop shopping inspiration for personal style.
‘Style Is Not Siloed’
Beginning this month, these boutiques will bring fashion and home decor together into one all-inclusive shopping experience. Highlighting particular looks or themes such as preppy, boho, and contemporary, Rue La La’s DressingRoom will give members access to inspiration from necklaces to vases, and linens to maxidresses to bring this style to their closets and living rooms.
Like a stroll through a digital store dedicated to a favorite look, all fashion and home items will be featured together for easy, cross-channel style inspiration. DressingRoom also includes themed inspiration boards, how-to content and more incorporated with boutiques. The series will kick off on May 9, featuring “Bright & Bohemian”, followed by “Minimalist Whites” and then “Weekend Casual” throughout the month of June.
“Our members’ personal style does not stop in their closets–it touches all areas of their lives,” says Robin Domeniconi, chief marketing officer of Rue La La. “The DressingRoom makes lifestyle shopping easy and fun. Showcasing fashion and home elements together inspires our members to embrace their personal style on every level, from the perfect dress to the perfect pillow. Style is not siloed, and shopping for it should not be either.”
Fashion brands including Free People, French Connection, Elizabeth and James, and Max Mara, as well as interior brands including Safavieh, Pangea, and Skyline will be featured within the “Bright & Bohemian” launch boutique.
