Red C JewelsItem of the Day: Red C Jewels

While we’re all about coordinating your accessories, matchy-matchy is definitely a no-no.

Even in your earrings though?

Lately no less than Taylor Swift and Emma Stone have been seen gallivanting about Los Angeles sporting initial stud earrings that don’t match. The first name initial is one ear, the last name initial in the other.

Initials aren’t new but the trend toward mixing them is picking up steam at Red C Jewels (that’s Hollywood lingo for “red carpet”) reports young women are clamoring for their tiny diamond-encrusted 14K gold initial studs. (Also available sans diamonds).

So these days it’s still fine to match wits, but not initials.

Retail: $150 for single earring
