Item of the Day: Paige Hamilton Design

Paige Hamilton Design recently found another great lightweight material besides its signature nylon.

This Hilary bag is made of a rubber-like Italian “jelly,” a material that has definitely made a comeback in accessories.  Here, it’s done in an opaque version, adding a note of privacy to the more traditional translucent jelly material. (Do you really want people to know you’re carrying around a $500 to $800 iPad? This bag can fit one, by the way.)

This Paige Hamilton Design bag is a cross-body with a removable chain strap and doubles as a clutch wristlet. The 3” bangle ring also adds a decorative element when it snaps to the bag.

The jelly material makes the bag easy to clean, too. Just wipe with a wet towel. The Hilary bag comes in five colors in the jelly material, with the choice of silver or gold hardware. We particularly love the bold tangerine and hot pink hues.

Hamilton sources her materials in Italy, but all handbags are made in the U.S.A.

Retail $225 to $240.
