TechnomarineItem of the Day: Technomarine

While we try to toss you some pearls of wisdom each day along our Items of the Day, we also feel the hankering to bring some new ways of wearing pearls (you know, ways your mom wouldn’t have thought of). Well, the folks at Technomarine, a watch brand known its cheeky chic timepieces, have come up with a new way to wear pearls. It’s called the Aquasphere, a 42-millimeter stainless steel watch with a domed crystal bearing 28 free-floating freshwater pearls (sizes 2.5 to 4.5 millimeter).

Like many of the brand’s styles this one is inspired by the lazy, crazy resort of Saint Tropez. The sporty diver’s watch treatment found in the Aquasphere gives an insouciance that you don’t normally associate with the average strand of pearls.
