At the risk of having someone say “you have got a screw loose,” we present some industrial chic earrings by designer Connie Verrusio. Cast in brass, these wood screws have been turned into 9-millimeter stud earrings with silver posts and heavy duty backs.
They’re a perfect example of Verrusio’s mantra: turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. The designer loves to take everyday mundane items—nuts, bolts, rulers—and screw around with them until she finds a new way to present them.
Her wood screw studs come as a mixed pair: one is a Phillips, the other, slotted. They’re a must find for any tool, we mean, jewel box. (Screwdriver not included).
