To call someone “wooden” usually means they’re awkward or clumsy. That’s certainty not the type of wooden that describes this artisanal wood clutch from Tesler + Mendelovitch.

Each is constructed from 100% wood, 100% hide. While the geometric surface design provides necessary flexibility, the wood texture is soft to the touch, at once both delicate and wear resilient. It has a leather lining and magnetic closure.

This style is made from ebony, a rare and valuable wood derived from a tree that can take over 100 years to mature (talk about a real classic). Ebony’s tight grain can be polished to a marble-like smoothness.

And since each bag features a different wood grain, no two wooden clutches are alike.
