The two companies already had a long-standing relationship as ClearVision has been licensing BCBG eyewear and sunwear for the optical industry since 2005. New is ClearVision’s expansion into department stores and other non-optical channels of distribution. Colors in Optics was the previous licensee for that portion of the marketplace.

The 2014 sunwear collection is a fusion of global influences with an “indie rock” edge. The collection includes over 40 styles, featuring iconic branding with distinctive silhouettes. Elevated materials, unexpected color combos and unique lens treatments add a fresh twist to the collection. Other designs feature architectural details with vintage-inspired elements and translucent color glamour.
The line made its debut during August market at retails of $79 to $149.
ClearVision Optical also produces eyewear and sunwear for brands such as Cole Haan, Marc Ecko Cut & Sew, IZOD and Op.
