New York—Struggling JCPenney once again made headlines several times this week in what turned out to be a roller coaster of share price and speculation. The company’s shares rose and fell upon news that the chief financial officer might depart, a search for a new CEO started and that former chairman Allen Questrom might return.

But there was plenty to celebrate this week, too. Blogger Bryan Boy teamed up with accessories veteran Adrienne Landau on a fun-filled fur collection. Michael Kors Holdings saw its profit jump again and Fossil impressed Wall Street with its second quarter results.
