Saks Inc., parent of Saks Fifth Avenue, reportedly for sale is reportedly a hot property, too—so far three bids have been made for the retailer. Barneys New York is also supposedly in talks with Jay Z—perhaps for a capsule collection for the retailer?

Another celebrity, Cameron Diaz, has been tapped as artistic director at Pour La Victoire accessories and footwear. And lastly, another surprise in the luxurygoods field: Sears now sells luxurygoods on its online Marketplace. Sears!
