New York–Why not add a touch of bohemian chic to girls’ back-to-school wardrobe? Stacey Fraser, designer of Pink Chicken dresses for women and children, is doing just that with a new collaboration with Luna Leggings.
Scheduled to debut in August, the collaboration consists of a capsule collection of brightly colored organic cotton tights for girls.
With hand-drawn designs and a touch of ethnic influence, the boldly patterned tights are an exciting edition to the Pink Chicken collection, says Fraser.
The leggings feature nylon stitching to maximize stretch and strength and a wide, reinforced waistband for comfort, and “stay-ability.”
Luna Leggings (www.lunaleggings.com) designed three exclusive prints for the girl’s line. Two of the pairs are footed and one is a footless style. They come in three sizes (2-4, 4-6, 6-8), priced at $34.
Additionally, 10% of proceeds from each sale of the tights will be donated to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, an organization that raises money for pediatric cancer research.
In addition to Pink Chicken’s website and stores in Amagansett and on Madison Ave., New York, the leggings will be available in boutiques around the country. www.pinkchicken
