New York—In a quandary about what to wear this summer? Get some first hand advice from Emmy Award winning costume designer and stylist Eric Daman, who will be serving as brand ambassador and spokesman for Century 21 Department Store this summer.
Daman, who worked on “The Carrie Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” and assisted Patricia Field as costume designer on “Sex and the City” from 1999–2001, will be dispensing expert tips, product picks and styling insights on Century 21’s e-commerce site and social media platforms through August.
“I have been shopping at Century 21 for over 10 years. It is a classic NYC shopping destination must!” said Daman. “It is an honor to partner with them at such an exciting point in their evolution. From the recent renovations to the extended locations, Century 21′s growth and continued commitment to their customer is an experience I am proud to be a part of.”
Century 21 first launched their guest stylist series this past fall with celebrity stylist and television personality George Kotsiopoulos. The retailer will look to Daman’s global styling and design background to further elevate the shopping experience and engage their customers in a fresh and unique way.
“We are thrilled to have Eric join the Century 21 family as a spokesperson for the brand this season,” said Aliza Perruzzi, Century 21’s director of marketing. “As we continue our commitment to evolve and create the best possible shopping experience, we felt it was important to provide the customer with an approachable guide dedicated to the latest in style. Eric’s amazing energy and unique styling insight align perfectly with our vision.”
Daman has collaborated with top brands including Swarovski, Charlotte Russe, and DKNY, and released his first book, You Know You Want It: Style – Inspiration – Confidence. Daman’s work on and off-screen has been lauded in leading fashion and lifestyle publications. Daman has appeared on “E! News” and “The Rachael Ray Show,” and served as a guest judge on “America’s Next Top Model” and “Project Runway All-Stars.”
