New York—New York’s SoHo neighborhood is the latest site for Happy Socks’ concept store.

Situated at 436 West Broadway between Prince and Spring Streets, the concept store joins concept stores and temporary pop-up shops in Stockholm, London, Tokyo and Paris

Launched in Stockholm in 2008, Happy Socks has grown into a global brand that is, accounting to the brand, “synonymous with style, joy, fun, and happiness.” (United Legwear Co., LLC is its North American licensee).

As an epicenter of style and retail activity, New York City was a natural location for the first U.S. Happy Socks store, according to co-founder and creative director Viktor Tell.

“To open a store in New York—one of the greatest cities in the world—has been a long-time dream for us, and United Legwear Co. has helped make that dream reality. It feels awesome!” said Tell. “We want to make NYC a bit happier!”

Mikael Soderlindh, Tells’s co-founder of Happy Socks, added, “We want to give New Yorkers the chance to experience all that we offer under one roof. What better place than in the heart of SoHo’s shopping district?”

In a tiny jewel-box of a space, shoppers will be presented with a modern, white space that acts as a perfect canvas for showing off the colorful socks. Seasonal collections will be showcased along with collabs, boxed gift sets and socks for kids, too.
