So finding a tote that was fashionable, lightweight, and functionable became a mission for designer Miriam Jesselli. It’s a quest she seemingly has solved with her BUCO bags.
“I learned pretty quickly that beautiful totes with hardware add about 5 additional pounds to the weight so it doesn’t make sense to have my shoulders hurt,” she says. Hence her collection of extremely lightweight and colorful bags “without all the unnecessary hardware.”
Distinctive laser cuts are a signature for BUCO, and this Ashlea Circles Tote in black patent leather is at once modern yet has a flavor of ‘60s Courrèges, too. Each has a contrasting camel color suede interior with a top zip removable pouch, double handles, scalloped edge and decorative tassel. Ideal for loading up.
