St. Petersburg, FL—“Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore,” exclaimed Dorothy after she and her dog landed kerplunk in the merry old land of Oz. If you think that land of Oz was out of this world, just wait until March 8 when a new Walt Disney film “Oz, The Great and Powerful,” opens reviving the fantasy from somewhere over the rainbow.
This time around, HSN will play a key role in collaboration with Disney in the marketing of the film, including an exclusive collection of apparel, jewelry, beauty and home accessories based upon the film.
To promote the collection and the film, HSN has developed a comprehensive 360 marketing campaign that includes a special two-day live event that can be viewed across all of its platforms–TV, HSN.com and HSN mobile.
Top HSN designers have created a curated assortment of exclusive products reflecting the spirit of the film. The apparel, accessories, jewelry and beauty pieces reflect the essence of the movie’s three witches Theodora, Evanora and Glinda, drawing inspiration from their sense of style, personality and individual color palettes.

About “Oz The Great and Powerful”
Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great wizard but into a better man as well.
