Figure Skater Ashley Wagner is Pandora’s New Style Ambassador

Pandora Jewelry announces partnership with U.S. Figure Skating, Four Continents Champion Ashley Wagner.

Laurel, MD–Pandora Jewelry’s new style ambassador is gliding into place.

The mega international jewelry company has teamed up with champion figure skater Ashley Wagner—2012 U.S. Champion and 2012 Four Continent Champion—as one of its style ambassadors. Wagner joins U.S. Captain, gymnast Aly Raisman, in representing Pandora to its avid following.

As part of the partnership, Wagner will make appearances at several Pandora stores in 2013 and tweet on behalf of the brand (@AshWagner2010) as well as offer other social media and marketing efforts.

“The success of our multi-year NBC Ice Skating sponsorship, has demonstrated firsthand how much America loves figure skating,” said Angel Ilagan, Pandora’s vice president, marketing, North America. “It’s an entertaining sport that can often bring families together and we are excited to partner with Ashley, as she continues her journey to her dream of competing in Japan in 2014.”

As many consumers use Pandora beads to commemorate events and milestones in their lives, Wagner’s should be pretty jam-packed! To name just a few of her accomplishments since 2012, Wagner won her first national championship title at the 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January, her first Four Continents Championships in February, a win at the 2012 Skate America Championship in October, plus wins at the 2012 Grand Prix events at Skate America in October and Eric Bombard, Paris in November.

Personal appearance dates are still being finalized, but they will fall in first quarter of 2013. “I’m thrilled to partner with a brand that celebrates the big and little achievements in every woman’s life. During the 15 years I’ve spent training and competing on the ice, I’ve learned to enjoy all of the moments, challenges and celebrations that you encounter on life’s journey,” said Wagner.
