Love hurts! And to drive home that message, jewelry company Maison de Morgana has created its Iron Maiden Locket.

Created from antique brass, outside it’s just a pretty heart locket with some pyramid studs. But inside…whoa!…there are spikes to crush whatever lies within when it’s slammed shut.

This ancient torture device (aren’t you glad you didn’t live in the Middle Ages?) adds some serious edge to the heart theme.

Might we suggest placing a photo of your ex-boyfriend inside?

Feels like this locket defeats the purpose of lockets…why have spikes in the inside? Her jewelry looks a lot like the creations of House of Harlow and Spade…Not impressed
