Toni Hacker, co-founder of the brand, has been hired as creative director, according to AHQ.

Founded in 2005 by Hacker and her boyfriend Ben Harnett in their apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Hayden-Harnett specializes in handbags that don’t compromise on either style or function. Hacker’s experience as an industrial designer for more than a decade lends the edgy aesthetic and design which the brand is known for.
Whether it’s a convertible leather-trimmed nylon flight tote that can be worn at least four different ways, or an elegant amethyst whipsnake evening clutch complete with pockets for your cell phone, Hayden-Harnett continues to deliver quirky practicality without losing its rock-n-roll edge.
Hayden-Harnett will officially launch its e-commerce site, www.haydenharnett.com, on Nov. 15, with retail following later in February 2013 in luxury department stores and specialty shops throughout the United States. The Spring 2013 collection includes a variety of handbag styles varying from clutches and hobos to satchels and totes. Pricepoints will range from $238 to $950.
