Vince Camuto Launches Watches

Greenwich, CT—Vince Camuto might have gotten his start in shoes, but he certainly enjoys stepping into new accessories classifications, from jewelry to handbags to fashion accessories…and now watches.

Slated to hit stores this fall, the mens and women’s collection adds more power to the ever-expanding Vince Camuto Empire, which at current count has more than 20 categories. The watches also coincide with the Vince Camuto menswear launch, hitting stores this fall, opening the brand to a new customer base.

For the watches, Camuto joined forces with E. Gluck Corporation, a watch manufacturer in the industry for more than 50 years. “The potential to grow the Vince Camuto brand in today’s accessory marketplace is something we stand strongly behind,” says Michael Feagan, senior vice president of E. Gluck. “Vince Camuto is known for building industry-leading brands on a global scale and we are thrilled to be involved with Vince as he builds his namesake line.”

Inspired by the signature jewelry line, the women’s watches “emanate luxury, quality and simplicity.”  Style details include the brand’s signature pyramid stud, a hardware detailed crown, layered dials, and authentic skins such as python and stingray. Embedded with Swarorski crystals, the rose gold, gunmetal and brushed metal pieces will retail between $150 and $350.

For men—not to mention women who love to wear men’s watches—the watches fall into three categories: land, air and sea. Land signifies muscles inspired by automobiles and motorcycles; Air is more technical and mechanical, focusing on how the piece works; and Water is illustrated with colors and materials used like stainless steel, silicon and aluminum paired with textures and layering.

The timepieces will be available at Vince Camuto locations and online, as well as major department stores.
