Los Angeles–Known as the designer that kicked off the initials craze about a decade ago, Jana Feifer is once again endorsing celebrating one’s initials with the re-launch of her signature, fan-favorite “initial” totes.

But now they’re better than ever as there is a philanthropic tie in with literacy, which, not coincidentally, ties in nicely with the letters theme. As the monogramming trend also remains strong, this bag hits various notes at once.

The Letter for Literacy campaign donates a percentage of every wholesale, retail and online sale to UNESCO’s Literacy Initiative (LIFE). This program reaches 35 countries with literacy rates of less than 50% to provide educational materials and promote improvement in national reading and writing skills.
