ATS features more than 1,100 accessories lines. According to the show’s producer, BJI Fashion Group, fall/winter accessories “are all about embellishment, detail and mixed media finishing off the collections.”
Free Shuttle Bus Service
Among the ATS collections are “most innovative and inspirational lines from Seamless Showroom showing Carol Marie and Luv AJ, Nina Handbags and Footwear, Oliver Weber, DEOS and StarrLuna.” Saints & Sirens Showroom will be bringing Bod & Christensen, Tracy Mallon and Erika Walton collections; while Butik Showroom will showcase the collections of Serefina, Bliss & Love and Buitk Beads. Also, Breaux, angel court jewelry and LIN DANTO are making their inaugural debuts at ATS.
Besides accessories, ATS runs concurrent with Moda Manhattan, which contains more than 400 juried ready-to-wear collections, and Fame, which features more than 600 junior and young contemporary collections.
The shows begin later in the week this year due to a conflict with The New York Auto Show. The Auto Show opens on Easter every year and since Easter was so late this year, The Auto Show, the largest event and biggest revenue draw at the Javits Center, was open through Sunday, May 1. ATS and other trade shows had to schedule Wednesday to Friday to accommodate the New York Market Week, beginning today.
ATS, Moda Manhattan and Fame offer complimentary breakfast, lunch, smoothies, Dasani bottled water, coffee, tea and cappuccino daily. The latest fashion tote bags are provided to show attendees. A coveted 15-minute massage with certified massage therapist Tobie Schuerfeld may be arranged, too. In addition, attendees can enter to win a chance to receive a free iPod or Broadway tickets to “Love, Loss, and What I Wore.”
