Los Angeles–Nicole Richie might be busy with her two kids, but she’s got another baby due this fall: House of Harlow 1960’s first handbag line.
The starlet launched fashion brands Winter Kate & House of Harlow 1960 in 2009, and has been adding accessories at a rapid clip. All follow her easygoing, vintage boho vibe—with flowing apparel, oversized vintage sunglasses, geometric tribal-themed goldtone jewelry, bold footwear and now, a line of casual/luxe handbags.
The handbags capture a juxtaposition of moods, from softly draped vintage leathers mixed with luxe materials like hair calf. In fact, animal prints factor in strongly, including perforated laser-cut pony calf, burnout pony and leopard print pony.
Part of the collection focuses on small-framed handbags and box minaudieres, both of which have recently been finding favor with a younger customer.
Handbags will retail from $150 for the croc printed box clutch to $625 for the leather -lasered pony hobo.
