This new Upper East Side optical store offers eye exams and an impressive roster of luxury eyewear and sunwear. Styles from Oliver Peoples, Dita, Retrosuperfuture, Linda Farrow, The Row, Alain Mikli, Tom Ford, Dior, Philippe Starck, Thierry Lasry and Fred line the minimalist shelves. Ultimate Spectacle is also the exclusive New York City optical carrier for Miu Miu, Romeo Gigli and Jeremy Tarian lines.
Concierge Program
Ultimate Spectacle also makes house calls. The store’s concierge optical program sends eyewear fashion consultants to people’s home for private eyewear viewings. The best part? It’s before the styles hit the shelves so chic consumers can be first with the trend.
“I wanted to create an eyewear shopping experience unlike any other in Manhattan where our customers are exposed to some of the most exclusive designer lines and can also achieve their yearly comprehensive eye exam,” says Jaclyn Edelstein, who accredits her expertise to a lineage in the family optical industry for more than 100 years.
