Coach CFO to Retire

New York–Coach announced that Michael F Devine III will retire as chief financial officer after nearly ten years with the company. Devine is expected to stay with Coach until August 2011 while the company searches for his successor.

“Mike has played a critical role in developing and executing the strategies that have driven our superior sales and earnings growth during his tenure with the company,” said Lew Frankfort, chairman and chief executive officer of Coach.

Devine added: “Leading the finance function at Coach has been immensely gratifying both personally and professionally as the company has rapidly grown into a truly global brand.”

Gary Cohen Named CEO at Timex Group

Middlebury, CT–Gary S. Cohen has been appointed president and ceo of Timex Group, B.V. Cohen, who also will sit on the company’s board of directors, was previously global general manager/vice president of Playtex Products Inc., a division of Energizer Holdings. Cohen had helped acquire the Hawaiian Tropic Sun Care brand and expand it internationally.

“I feel honored to lead one of the world’s largest and most iconic watch companies,” Cohen said. “I look forward to developing new business opportunities across our extensive portfolio of brands in both develped and emerging markets worldwide.”

Cohen previously helpd senior management positions at Proctor & Gamble and The Gillette Company.

Former Tory Burch Executive to White House|Black Market

Fort Myers, FL–Chico’s FAS Inc has named Liz Edmiston, a former Tory Burch executive, as senior vice president, general merchandise manager for its White House|Black Market division. She will report directly to Donna Noce, brand president of White House|Black Market, and oversee the merchandise strategy and direction for the brand’s apparel, shoe and accessories businesses.

Edmiston joins the retail chain, which operates 344 boutique and 21 outlet stores, from Tory Burch, where she served as vice president of merchandising and oversaw merchandising, planning and allocation for the global wholesale and retail business including boutiques, web and outlets.

She has also served as vice president, merchandising for Victoria’s Secret, and held a variety of merchandising roles with Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren Factory Stores, Gap International, Old Navy and Bloomingdale’s.
