Item of the Day

Whether you attended Coachella or are just living vicariously through all the thousands of trend photos on the web, you’ve discovered that boho fringe remains a festival staple (let’s see if Navajo and Aztec prints have the same shelf life).

That’s why we’re loving this fringe Kate hobo bag by Danielle Nicole, a division of Artisan House. This also marks the launch of suede to the brand, which had previously only featured man-made leather, jellies, canvas, and the like.

“This is a silhouette from the debut of my suede collection. It was inspired by travels to the Southwest and captures the colorblocking trend of the season,” says owner and designer Danielle DiFerdinando.

The blue/green color combo is very on-trend, as is the tassel and medium size of the bag. Because when fringe is such a design statement, you don’t want a giant bag weighed down by too much stuff, as it will only distort the shape and ruin the line.

Retail: $138.
