New York—One of the most venerable names in U.S. fashion jewelry is now available online in addition to its department store distribution.

Monet recently launched its e-commerce site, Monet.com, which offers the brand’s entire collection, including more than 500 styles including necklaces, rings, brooches, hair accessories, bridal, and sterling silver. Retails range from $24 to $148 for Monet’s fashion styles, and $28 to $198 for Monet’s sterling silver collection. Monet.com is the exclusive distribution channel for the sterling silver collection in the United States.

“Monet.com brings new opportunities to the brand, from the ability to service our existing customers in a time-efficient manner to introducing ourselves to new customers who are delighted by the vast assortment of jewelry offered,” says Ned Goepp, president.

Style Tips from Tim Gunn

Editorial features on the site include videos and style tips featuring Tim Gunn, chief creative officer of Liz Claiborne Inc. and co-host of “Project Runway,” as well as “how to wear it” advice from  Tiffany Bausch, Monet’s design director. Monet is owned and operated by Liz Claiborne, Inc.

The site permits easy to navigation, offering consumers the ability to utilize a “Quick Buy” feature from the home page. It also allows consumers to purchase from looks that have been featured in fashion magazine editorials.  Additionally, the product may be sorted by price range, material, or color. Monet will ship anywhere in the continental United States and free shipping will be given for orders totaling more than $100.

Monet will also offer sweepstakes on the site. The first sweepstakes will run in partnership with InStyle magazine with customers entering to win one of 100 “Love On the Rocks” statement bib necklaces. In addition,  to promote the launch of the bridal collection, Monet will ask customers visiting the site to send in their wedding photos in which they wore Monet. The photos will be posted on the site to coincide with the launch of the Monet Wedding Album page in Spring 2011.

Monet has engaged a third party fulfillment and distribution service for www.monet.com.
