Claire’s Debuts NES Green’s ‘Again’ Jewelry Line

NES GreenHoffman Estates, IL–Want to teach girls that recycling can be stylish? Take them to a Claire’s!

NES GREEN is the environmental division of the NES Group, manufacturers of sterling silver jewelry. They work with Hoover & Strong, which has been manufacturing precious metals since 1912, and has evolved into a leading producer of 100% recycled materials.

The silver that is used to make the Again jewelry was sourced, rescued, melted down and given a second life. The Again line features simple fashion items and basic earrings.

The Claire’s Again debut at Claire’s  “represents the shared vision of the retailer and supplier by creating a fabulous assortment of sterling silver jewelry made from 100% recycled silver,” said Nemo Gindi, NES president. “Claire’s commitment to top-quality product, consumer education and earth-friendly jewelry makes them a natural partner in our effort to introduce the first generation of Again jewelry to the public. We targeted Claire’s youthful consumer base due to the fact that she’s the epitome of a customer who has grown up with the mind-set to save our planet from unnecessary environmental waste.”

The line is also printed on recycled paper with environmentally friendly, water-based inks.

The line’s name–Again–is symbolic too. Ag is the elemental sign for Silver on the periodic table, while the idea of repurposing a product is promoted through the complete use of the word “again.”
