Los Angeles—While teen Twilhards helped the stars of the Twilight film saga walk away with 12 2010 Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, teens also chose their celebrity favorites in fashion including “Miley and Max,” the collection singer Miley Cyrus and Max Azria collaborated on for Walmart.

Cyrus, who also won for her film “The Last Song,” beat out some strong competition as this year’s favorite celebrity fashion line. While the 17-year-old singer and actress missed top place in the music category, her teen-targeted collection was voted tops over Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sean Jean, Nichole Richie’s House of Harlow, Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. and Justin Timerlake’s William Rast.

In total, 105 Teen Choice Award surfboards were handed out at the annual event, which was taped at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles and will be televised tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox. The awards, which are presented annually  honors the year’s biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, television, fashion and more, as voted on by teens ages 13 to 19. This year’s winners were chosen through more than 85 million votes cast online.

In other fashion and beauty awards, Megan Fox, the actress/model who is the new face Giorgio Armani cosmetics and stars in ads for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans, snagged Choice Female Hottie. Actress Selena Gomez, who’s is launching her own fashion line, “Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez” this fall at Kmart, was voted Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon—Female.

Taylor Lautner Takes Male Fashion Awards

 Actor Taylor Lautner, who appeared in the Twilight movies, won not only Choice Male Actor, he also won surfboards for Choice Male Hottie and Choice Red Carpet Icon—Male.

The competition in the fashion categories will be an interesting one in 2011 since recently launched collections by Madonna and her daughter, Britney Spears and Gomez  among others are all vying for teen’s wardrobe allowances starting this fall.
