“Sex and the City 2” doesn’t disappoint its fashionable fans. The film’s jewelry shows quite the range, from Carrie’s signature clover necklace (fun!) to her beautiful black diamond belated “engagement ring” (jaw-dropping!).

The clover necklace, designed by Chahan Minassian and retailing for close to $20,000, is only a dream for most of the film’s loyal viewers. However, we can thank our lucky charms (and the film’s stylist, Patricia Field) for a piece inspired by the necklace, retailing for $56 to 72. The clover necklace, designed by Field and available on her website (www.patriciafield.com) and at Payless (for $15!), is similarly akin to Carrie’s, and comes in various sizes and colors.

Though the four-leaf clover may be a symbol of luck, Carrie hardly needs an amulet with her new ring. The 5-carat black diamond stunner, designed by Itay Malkin, was so crucial to the film that it was kept top-secret, only revealing itself at the film’s premiere. The precious black diamond is set in 74 round pave diamonds, and is the perfect ring for Carrie. Though she immediately believes she’s given the ring as “a symbol of her black heart,” Mr. Big corrects her, telling her that the diamond is black because she is deserving of a ring that is unique, special, and avant-garde (and we agree!)

Now that the mayhem surrounding the film has slightly calmed, designers are getting down to business, working furiously to tap into the film’s exceptional jewelry trends. From black diamonds to Field’s inspired clover necklaces to countless cubic zirconia “inspiration,” shoppers can reel in on the trends of SATC2 for a wide-range of prices. What’s better than having a bit of the film’s glam, affordably, at your fingertips?
