Item of the Day

For those of us who demand (and can afford) a little luxury in their lives, there’s nothing like the real thing. Real, as in authentic, natural, exotic skin handbags. Not printed, not embossed…and definitely not imagined.

Without making some sort of 1% vs 99% comment (we’ll leave that to our other journalist friends), we bring you Cashhimi, a lovely line of luxury bags that are the real deal. Plus, a blatant absence of ostentatious logos add an understated elegance that is perfect for today’s economic climate.

Conceptualized by Turkish designer Cenan Abas Sel and handcrafted in Istanbul, these bags transition perfectly from day to evening–and all those important appointments in between.

We particularly love the Charlton (all model names are based off streets throughout Soho), which features lime green crocodile, natural python with neon green paint and silver chain woven throughout that offers options as cross-body or shoulder bag.

Because when you’re going super-luxurious, a little neon green shows you still have a sense of humour. Maybe you are like the 99% of us after all.
