Item of the Day

We consider ourselves lucky. We see a lot of pretty things on a daily basis. Yet, oftentimes our eyes blur and all that pretty starts taking on different forms–handbags start looking like hats, jewelry like candy, you get the point.

But every so often we come across a collection that makes us completely stop in our tracks…and when Lizzy Couture’s collection hit our inbox, it did just that. Bam!

This incredible collection of jewelry and accessories consists of jaw dropping, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, sure to make any jewelry enthusiast swoon.  By combining elements like old tulle, antique French trims, English fobs, and collectible vintage jewelry components, designer Elizabeth Chittenden turns old finds into new treasures.

As you can imagine, it was nearly impossible to select just one piece to feature, so we figured we’d show off one that has moved it’s way up to the top of our holiday wishlist.  (Ahem, Santa are you listening?)

The beaded black jet trim, rhinestone brooch,  fleur de lis drop, on that chic crisp white Edwardian collar? All choked up has a brand new meaning.
