Englewood, CO–All those who get their kicks from skateboards and the ever-expanding extreme sports culture, there soon won’t be an excuse to be late to the next jam.

Come Spring 2012, two of the most popular board and extreme sports brands, Airwalk and Vision Street Wear, will have their own specialty sport watch collections.

Collective Licensing International, LLC (CLI), a leading youth lifestyle company and owner of the Airwalk and Vision Street Wear brands, announced this week an exclusive, multi-year license agreement with Xtreme Time of New York, which will design, market and sell the Airwalk and Vision Street Wear branded watches in North America.

Youth Lifestyle Market Appeal

“We are thrilled to see Airwalk and Vision Street Wear branching into these categories,” said Bruce Pettet, president/ceo of CLI. “We are confident that the partnership with Xtreme Time will complement these brands and promote brand awareness of their still growing reputations in the youth lifestyle market.”

Founded in 2000, Xtreme Time is a private corporation owned by Nissim “Nemo” Gindi and Ralph Hanan. Watches from Xtreme Time include major retail private label programs as well as in the licensed brands such as Apple Bottoms by Nelly and The Macbeth Collection by award-winning designer Margaret Josephs.

“As true legacy brands in board/extreme sports culture go, you can’t get much better than Airwalk and Vision Street Wear,” said Ralph Hanan, vice president of Xtreme Time. We will showcase all of the excitement and adrenaline these brands represent in a fresh and inspired new collection of specialty watches.”

Established in 1986, Airwalk remains one of the most recognized names in action sports and youth lifestyle brands. In addition, Vision Street Wear, founded in 1976, is considered one of the original and most authentic street wear brands with deep connections to skateboarding, alternative, punk rock, and youth fashion and style.
