Winston-Salem, NC—Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, may be sheer hosiery’s most famous advocate at the moment, but L’eggs, the leading brand in U.S. hosiery, hopes to help thousands of women add polish to their looks through a new partnership with Dress for Success, an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women.
In honor of the partnership, L’eggs will also donate up to 12,000 pairs of legwear to Dress for Success through a virtual legwear drive on Facebook. Beginning Sept 19, for every person who “likes” L’eggs on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/Leggsbrand) and clicks “Help L’eggs Donate,” the brand will donate one pair of legwear to Dress for Success, up to 12,000 pairs.
“We think this partnership with Dress for Success is a perfect marriage of our brand’s vision and what it means to help women feel and look good from the inside out,” said Angela Hawkins, director and general manager of legwear at HanesBrands, which owns the L’eggs brand. “We will also post Dress for Success’ monthly featured success story on our Facebook page. We feel sharing the success stories of women who have taken control of their destiny will inspire others to do the same,” she added.
