Timo Weiland for Tsubo Markov shoe

There’s nothing worse than watching a fashion show, seeing an amazing accessories collaboration, then discovering that the pieces were just made for the show, never to see the inside of a retail store or online shopping cart.

Lucky for us, fashion designer Timo Weiland teamed up with edgy comfort footwear company Tsubo for an amazing shoe collaboration, which will be sold next season. The military-inspired Timo Weiland for Tsubo shoes is part of Tsubo’s “The New Creatives” initiative to pair the footwear designing up with emerging design talent.

According to the San Francisco-based Tsubo, its Spring/Summer 2012 collection is inspired by “the romance between an Italian military commander and the daughter of an Italian seamstress during the 1930s…The collection is a diary of their passionate encounters and summer romance in coastal Italian villages.”
